Staff Update

With the 2010 season upon, one thing is for sure, change is always in the wind. Ryan DeRoche has been a familiar face here at the Cycle Loft for the last 5+ years. It's with disappointment that we bid Ryan good luck on his next new adventures as he leave the Loft to become Trek Travel's Global Logistics Manager, effective immediately. What does that all mean? Well it means he'll be travelling the world setting up and taking care of riders and bicycles for trips and tours, primarily in Europe. We're sorry to see Ryan depart, and it's a great opportunity for him--we wish him the very best. On the road this summer, you will continue to see the Cycle Loft Neutral Support truck at the MS150, B2B, PMC, and other rides with Dan Bischoff [among others], at the wheel. Be sure to say hi to Dan and welcome him to the road gang.

As Ryan was oft to say, "Ride fast, take chances;" ok, just don't forget to send a postcard.

Here in the shop, we'll continue to prioritize customer service and mechanical thoroughness. Gene Ruiter, an exceedingly experienced mechanic will be rejoining the Cycle Loft after a stay in UT and NV--Gene brings a great passion for all disciplines of riding--road, ATB [rigid!], bmx--and a high level of mechanical creativity to the shop, not to mention a great grasp on American and English Literature.

As always, please feel free to reach out to me or Anthony Laskaris, with any service oriented issues.
